Hong Kong

Hello from Hong Kong! We are one more step closer to Leah.

I just have a few minutes before we're supposed to board, although so far there's no airplane here.

We got up early this morning and made it to the airport in Tapei with no problems. We found a Starbucks in the airport and then had breakfast at Burger King. Our seats in the 747 were up front in business class for some reason - I wish we'd been up there for our flight across the Pacific.

We found another Starbucks in the Hong Kong airport (see a pattern here?) and paid $54 for two Grande coffees.....Hong Kong $ of course, but still about $4 apiece.

I was sitting here reading email when suddenly Pei-ko called on Windows Messenger. I plugged in the web cam and Wen Ling and Ling Jia talked to him for a few minutes. Amazing that we can sit here in Hong Kong, not plugged into anything, and talk to him in Taiwan. Hopefully it'll work from Zhengzhou.

The weather in Hong Kong is windy and rainy, but it's still warm and humid inside the terminal.

Hopefully I'll have time to catch up the blog tonight in Zhengzhou.
